SPARKLES

They sparkled with a crackle
A crackle, a resounding thunder
For then the sight beheld
A sight worthy to be survived
To be called upon in cheer and gloom
For there were sparks above
And it blew fire below
Charred were all who’er in its way.
The ode to the all powerful
To invoke his calm, to heal the burn
How shill they all wailed!
The clouds tore up and the earth gave way;
The swaying tres stood silent
The aviators listened crouched in fear.
Which all had dreaded,
Tidings of fury it contained within
Fury unknown, unseen and unheard of
But then it all ended.
The calm, the fury, the fear the wail
As the sweep that arrived
All that were and would be
Consumed up like nothing
All there was and now none.
