For it’s the night that’s dark and mysterious
Sometimes lit up by the moon and stars
To show some truths not known before
For in the nights that you rise to shine
The nights that we fall rotting away
The lover’s mate, the loner’s foe
For sleep you brought once long ago
And now the senses you awake
Toiling away in your cradle every moment
At the tables, on the dance-floors or somewhere private
The fear of the primitive now the courage of the bold
The TV sets you light up for the people to survive
The daily soaps, sitcoms, reality and more addiction to live
But the day you show ain’t that a day
For the sun comes up to dwarf all brightness
The kings of the nights and the nocturnus
Worship for your being and your longevity
The nights that we pass be the days we live
For now it is the nights that breathe and survive.
truly butiful....
